Alberto Zane, architect, experienced sailor and designer of sails, paragliders and sailing boats including Nichi (1998) Soleri 26 1/2 (1994) and Blue Phoenix (1983), in 2003, after twenty years of experience in industry sailing and gliding, together with Nicoletta Toffano, passionate sailor and racer, he founded Blue Phoenix named as the three quarter tonner designed in 1983.
The long experience obtained in years of high-level regattas in-shore and off-shore, in the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Adriatic and on the lakes, also taking part in the world championships, and the depth aerodynamic research applied to the design of the glider, led the arch. Alberto Zane to design for Blue Phoenix sails like wings, high-performing and efficient.
Nicoletta Toffano, graduate in political science and with long experience in organizational and administrative sector, has reconciled the passion for sailing and professional experience, creating a sail loft where competence, quality, warranty and assistance to ship owners are the central theme of the company policy .
